I am urgently seeking a Business Analyst for a 6 month contract in central London for £475 per day
* To support the Project Managers in functional and non-functional requirements gathering: stakeholder workshops, interviews, document analysis etc.
* To document requirements, user journeys/stories and associated acceptance criteria in a clear and unambiguous manner: complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable and feasible.
* To document testing strategies, test plans and test scripts/cases.
* To manage and support UAT
* To map AS IS and TO BE business and operational processes.
* To effectively communicate with the project team and wider stakeholder audience.
* Assist in the development and delivery of training to business users.
* Has a solid understanding of overall business and corporate objectives and works under broad project direction with the ability to self-define specific tasks.
* Uses judgment and creativity and sound business & technical knowledge to obtain and recommend solutions.
* Interfaces directly with senior management where required.
* Takes hands on approach to project work and is adaptable in terms of style and activities undertaken.
Required Qualifications and Experience
* At least 3 years experience as a business analyst on major IT projects with exposure to industry standard tool sets for requirements gathering and testing
* Proven and demonstrable experience in gathering requirements documentation in complex customer environments.
* Proven and demonstrable experience of a standard project methodology (Agile and Waterfall).
* Proven and demonstrable experience of business context modelling, business process mapping, business process re-engineering and workflow modelling.
* Proven and demonstrable experience of documenting requirements using UML, Use Case and other standard methodologies.
* Experience of identifying and escalating risks and issues.
* Exceptional communication skills in both written and spoken format
