Oracle APEX Javascript Developer working for an excellent client this role is based in their Dublin City Centre development office. This position is responsible for developing a cloud based case management and business intelligence SaaS solution based on Oracle APEX and JavaScript. The successful candidate must have BSc in CS or related discipline. 3+years' experience in developing Oracle APEX based applications is required. Good JavaScript development skills are also necessary. You will have a can-do, self-managing approach towards solution development, problem solving and continuous improvement. Be a strong team player and must have the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a geographically disperse working environment. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are essential. Authorization to work in the Republic of Ireland is required for this position.

Responsibilities of the Oracle APEX Javascript Developer :

Designing and implementing new features into their case management solution using a combination of APEX, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL.

Integration of third party APEX plug-ins.

Suggesting application design enhancements and new product features.

Evaluating new technology options, recommending the adoption of new technologies into the solution.

Other activities and responsibilities that may be deemed appropriate as required.

Required Experience of the Oracle APEX Javascript Developer

*3+ years' experience building modern elegant web applications using a combination of APEX and JavaScript.

*Managing web page layouts with APEX templates and themes, APEX 5 Universal Theme in particular.

*APEX Plug-in development.

*Integrating REST APIs into APEX applications.

*Relational Data modeling.

*Oracle Database performance and tuning.

*Knowledge of web application usability trends.

Required Technology Skills:

*Oracle APEX

*JavaScript

*Oracle SQL

*Oracle PL/SQL

*HTML5 / CSS

Educational Requirements:

*B.Sc. in Computer Science or other equivalent technical discipline.

*Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn about new concepts and technologies.

*Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.

*Must be a strong team player and must also have the ability to self-manage their day-to-day workload.

*Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
