Migration Analyst

Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit a Migration Analyst for an initial 10 month contract on a rate of £300-350/day (outside of IR35) based in Glasgow.

Responsibilities:

* Carry out migration activities to facilitate the migration of AD, Email and File Services.

* Work on a flexible basis to support the migration delivery schedule.

* Configure and monitor the following primary migration platforms:

*Quest Migration Manager for Active Directory

*Quest Migration Manager for Exchange

*Quest Secure Copy

* Master and assist in the development of all related migration documentation.

* Support designing and delivering large scale migrations together with the methodologies and techniques needed to manage a geographically disparate user base.

Experience working with:

* Microsoft Active Directory

* MS Exchange 2003

* VMware 6x

* Quest Migration Manager for Active Directory

* Quest Migration Manager of Exchange

* Quest Secure Copy

* A working knowledge of PowerShell and automation.

Other requirements:

* Good understanding of general Microsoft technologies.

* Experience of Using Quest Migration Manager to support multi-domain migration.
