Project Engineer (Chemical)

South Wales (Commutable from Cardiff, Newport, Pontypridd, Barry, Bridgend, Pontypool)

£25,000 - £35,000 + Training + Progression + Pension + Holiday

An excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer with a degree in chemical engineering to join a global, international powerhouse, in a role that will combine both comprehensive training and development as well as the management of cutting edge capital projects.

Based in South Wales, this company are part of a global group which leads the way in the chemical engineering industry. Due to their ongoing commercial success they are looking to take on a Project Engineer.

In this role you will be responsible for managing capital projects from conception and ensure the approval, design procurement and commissioning of the capital projects. You will be responsible for making sure that the projects comply with the company's standards. You will undertake the chemical/process engineering design for your projects.

This role is ideal for someone with a degree in chemical engineering. Ideally this individual will have experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and in chemical process engineering design, however the company will look at a graduate with industry experience.

THE ROLE:

*Manage capital projects from conception

*Ensure projects comply with the companies standards

*Provide the projects manager or designer with expenditure forecasts

*Undertake the chemical/process engineering design

*Ensure the safety of assigned projects

THE PERSON:

*Chemical Engineering degree

*Experience in chemical/process engineering design

*Working in/leading multi-disciplinary teams
