Computer Futures are currently working with a national restaurants chain, in helping them develop their Big Data platform. At present they are recruiting for a Big Data Analyst - to review their current datasets and determine insights which will lead to increase in sales revenues.

This unique opportunity will be helping a large UK retail business understand their legacy data and derive insights for the business - enabling stakeholders to understand what variables will lead to an increase in sales (e.g. sports events, cinema releases etc.).

The organisation are currently in processing of acquiring a new Big Data platform - so will be looking for someone with experience of overseeing a data migration/transition between legacy/new systems and processes. Therefore anyone with experience of this, as well as a desire to learn and develop themselves would be highly valued. (Ideal candidate will be driving their own learning as there is no internal knowledge tool).

Position: Data Analyst (ML, SQL, R, Python)

Contract Length: 3 months + extension

Rate: £300 - £400 a day

Must Have:

* SQL & Excel - highly proficient (Expert level)

* Linear & logistical regression skills

* Analytical Background

* Desire to learn and develop themselves (this person will to some degree drive their own learning as there is not an internal knowledge pool)

Desirable:

* Machine Learning experience

* Tableau/Python/R

* BI Reporting/Dashboard Reporting
