Head of Data Science vacancy based in London will see you utilise your data science and management skills to lead a talented team. This is a great Head of Data Science vacancy working within the medical industry. This opportunity presents you the chance to work in a digital healthcare company, to provide engagement between academic and clinical partners to deliver great data and AI work that helps drive scientific discovery.

This vacancy will require commuting to Oxford at least once a week to meet with the existing team and present the opportunity to grow an AI team in London.

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

Working and reporting to the CTO in relation to Data Science strategy

developing and improving excising/new relationships between partners and customers

Planning and developing new opportunities with the CTO and Head of Sales & Business.

Working closely with the Data Science team

Eligible Head of Data Science candidates will have a PhD in Mathematics, Machine Learning or Data Science;

Python, C++, R and Java

Experience in recruitment, training and collaborating with a team of Data Scientists

Experienced Leader who has held a position with accountability

Experience using big data systems like; Spark, MongoDB and Hadoop

Experience within the healthcare industry is a must

Ideal Candidate will have held a management position, with experience in implementing medical data science solutions.
