Software Architect & Lead Architect / Coventry / Leading client / FTSE 500 / JAVA / Agile / £70kA growing technology business based in Coventry are on the lookout for a Software Architect and a Lead Architect to join their growing team on a permanent basis.These are new roles to add to their existing teams and the successful candidates will work within and across their agile development teams on the full software development lifecycle and will be involved in all aspects including creation, functional and technical design, development and maintenance and the innovation of the product suite.They are looking for Software Architects who will come on board and provide technical leadership and be passionate about agile project team development.You will be expected to drive quality into the heart of development and adhere to their high standards.Responsibilities will include:-          Defining architectural best practices for software solutions-          Be hands on in your approach, leading the development of robust enterprise applications (JEE)-          Evaluation possible solutions and designs-          Be a mentor for other team members on architectural best practice-          Keep your knowledge updated-          Maintain their high standards of design and quality of code-          Promote automation, Test driven development, CI and CDRequired experience:-          Degree or equivalent work experience-          Java-          Maven-          Junit-          Linux / Unix-          TDD / BDD-          Tomcat, JMS-          SQL and NoSQL databases-          Microservices-          HTML5-          JavaScript-          Spring-          Hibernate-          Camel-          JUnit, Mockito etc.-          Experience of cloud hosted applications (ideally AWS)The salary will depend on experience.Other benefits include pension scheme, paid for company trips, flexible working (Working from home), up to date tech stack, collaborative team etc.Interviews will begin with a telephone interview, availability as of 18th May.
