 Role 1 '€¢Location - Liverpool'€¢Role - Senior Network Engineer / Architect'€¢Industry - Entertainment / Leisure'€¢Salary - 40k - 50k Key Responsibilities '€¢Reporting to the IT Operations Manager and will work closely with the Information Security and Data Protection Officer as well as being integral to SOC, NOC and the IT Operations role.'€¢Design, deploy and maintain functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN) to the agreed Network standards, infrastructure and architecture (e.g. Juniper, NgINX)'€¢Configure and install software, servers, routers and other network devices services (e.g., routers, switches, vlans, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)'€¢Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations, ensuring any applicable change control and communication plan is followed.'€¢Monitor network performance and integrity and ensure system availability and reliability utilizing known and agreed'€¢Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning'€¢Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting Private Cloud and proprietary located infrastructure'€¢Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure'€¢Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness'€¢Mentor team members on technical issues'€¢Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company's security team'€¢Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery) Essential '€¢Industry-related experience as a Network/Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator'€¢Background in network administration and architecture'€¢In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)'€¢Experienced in routing and switching'€¢Understanding of network operating systems (e.g., Checkpoint, Juniper stack, JUNOS, Cisco IOS)'€¢Familiarity with access control models and how best to incorporate them'€¢Network security at an enterprise level with external and internal vector controls'€¢Private Cloud and Proprietary environments, including responsibility for performance, service and capacity management'€¢Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g., Python, Perl)'€¢Network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., SolarWinds network tools)'€¢QoS and CoS service techniques and the ability to implement and manage this at the correct level'€¢Sharp troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate remediation to all levels'€¢Team leading with organisational and mentoring skills'€¢Ability to work independently and as part of at team'€¢BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field'€¢Professional Qualifications that will benefit; JNCIP-Ent and or Sec, CCNP, JNCIS-Sec and or Cloud, CCNA It would be great to discuss further, if you could send me an updated CV I can run through the position with you in more detail.  They are looking to line up interviews from the 21st May in the afternoon, so if you could let me know your availability with regards to this as well that would help.I look forward to hearing from you,
