The Junior Project Manager will report to the Programme Director and be responsible for either independently running small and medium sized programmes or projects; or assisting Senior Project Managers in their project management of other projects.

The role will involve the following activities:-

Project Management - Analyse the scope of each project, highlight risks & assumptions, assign responsibilities and ownership, define project objectives & critical success factors, devise a delivery schedule, inform all relevant parties and monitor/ensure project delivery.

Quality Assurance - Ensure all project deliverables meet customer expectations and company quality standards .

Communication - Ensure all relevant issues are communicated appropriately, progress reports produced as requested & a pro-active containment / resolution plan devised.

Support - Assistance to team members, internal colleagues and clients

Work Organisation - Effective prioritization and meeting deadlines and individual development - take ownership for personal development.

Technical/Commercial Knowledge - Maintain awareness of technical areas surrounding projects, industry knowledge, company organisation and issues.

You will be a graduate with at least two years project management experience in a software development environment.
