Application Architect Designer (AAD)
Contract: 6.5 months
Daily Rate: 487€/day
Location: Brussels
Total years of higher studies and professional experience: 18
Total years of experience in the specific expertise domain: 9
Specific expertise: Expertise in Java Enterprise technologies
DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
- The development and modification of Java Enterprise applications and components such as Web Services and EJBs.
- Configuration of mappings and policies on the "Oracle Service Bus".
- Analysis and design of Services implementations in SOA context
- Coordination of releases of inter-dependent applications and web-services.
- Analysis and design of system interfaces, integration patterns, technological components
- Implementation of those technological components, following design phases, in respect of requirements
- Prototyping of technical components, system integration patterns
- Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system
- Assist with evaluating and testing products
MANDATORY KNOWLEDGE
a. In depth knowledge of Java Enterprise architecture, frameworks and development.
b. In depth knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture, in particular SOAP based web services
c. Good understanding of Java Enterprise Frameworks
d. Experienced with standards/APIs: XML, XSD, SOAP, JAX-WS, JAXB, (possibly also JAX-RPC)
e. Good redaction skills, ability to give technical presentations.
f. Willingness to mix technical work with documentation and coordination.
5. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The following experience is mandatory:
a. Minimum 18 years of relevant studies and experience after secondary school
b. Minimum 2 years’ experience in architecture and design of information systems
c. Minimum 2 years’ experience in development of information systems
d. Minimum 2 years’ experience with UML or CASE tools
e. Experience in Service Bus Architecture
f. Experience with relational databases
g. Experience in web technologies
The following specific experience is required:
a. Minimum 9 years’ professional experience in "Java Enterprise" technologies.
