NETWORK ENGINEER - GLASGOW - 1 MONTH CONTRACT

My central belt client currently requires a contractor to join them to assist with the smooth running of their day to day activities on a 1 month rolling contract.

The role has arisen with a Global Distribution Leader who is seeking a self motivated and driven individual to take on the role of Network Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for IT Infrastructure networking systems, along with providing every support and maintaining all network hardware and equipment. You will need to have excellent communication skills and have the ability of working on your own, using your own initiative whilst remaining professional at all times.

For this role you must have:

* Personable nature, with great communication skills

* Previous experience in a similar Windows networked environment

* Configuration of network switches and routers

* Strong understanding of implementation, design and support of networking hardware and software

* Ability to work under pressure and work to specific deadlines

* Active Directory

* DHCP/DNS/WINS

* RRAS

* TCP/IP
