SAP Test Analyst

SAP Test Analyst required for a leading support services and engineering organisation based in Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding test team as part of a company wide greenfield SAP implementation. You will be leading testing activities during the delivery of the SAP roll out, as well as challenging test scope scenarios in different test phases.

Main Responsibilities:

* Work with the test team to challenge the scope and scenarios for testing phases (System testing, SIT and UAT)

* Manage the testing activities throughout the full testing lifecycle for multiple SAP projects, as well as participating in all testing activities i.e. meetings, quality gates, documents and reports

* Input into the test plans, scope, estimates and schedules for functional testing for each test phase and release

* Prioritise tests based on critical business and technical requirements

* Manage the production of effective test scripts to cover functional requirements of the programme

* Collect all testing outputs and ensure a defect log is maintained throughout all testing activities

* Work with a variety of internal teams to communicate test progress

* Ensure all solutions are delivered to an agreed standard and within SLA's

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

* SAP experience either in a testing or functional capacity (ESSENTIAL)

* Strong background in the full SAP testing lifecycle (system testing, integration testing, defect management, regression testing and UAT)

* Experience working with one of more of the following SAP modules: Procurement, Project Systems, Finance, HR, MM, Sales and Distribution

* Ability to challenge on test scenarios

* Ability to manage conflict whilst building successful business relationships with stakeholders

* Excellent communication skills

* ISTQB or ISEB certification (desirable)

Other Requirements:

* Must have or be able to obtain MOD Security Clearance
