Robotics /Controls Programmer/ Engineer

£35,000 - £42,000 + 25 days holiday

Tamworth, Staffordshire (commutable from Sutton Coldfield, Nuneaton, Lichfield, Burton on Trent, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Hinckley)

8am-4.30pm Mon-Thurs, 8-3.30pm Friday

Are you an experienced Robotics Engineer looking to work for a growing and ambitious company?

On offer is a technically interesting role where you rise through the ranks into senior roles with in the organisation.

This company design and build automated solutions for their prestigious automotive client based throughout the world. They have recently invested heavily in a state of the art R&D laboratory and with future expansions plans ahead this is an exciting time to join this growing company.

This role would suit an experienced Robotics Engineer with ABB/KUKA programming experience.

The role:

1.Responsible to realise delegated robot programming work and lead delegated engineers in a professional and efficient way and ensure required robot programming quality standard within planned time frame and budget.

2.Actively support the work / project progress, related to milestone achieving and cost control.

3.The Robot Engineer is actively support the Sales / DED / Controls Engineering in case of technical question and development.

The person:

1.Academic/working background in manufacturing engineering (mechanical/electrical)

2.Experience of KUKA and ABB robotics programming

3.Knowledge of controls systems
