Some exciting opportunities have arisen for Maintenance Team Members to join our Advanced Blade Casting Facility (ABCF) Manufacturing Services Team at Turbines Supply Chain Unit (SCU) in Rotherham. In this role you will be working 12 hour shifts to enable 24/7 coverage within the Advanced Blade Casting Facility.

The ABCF is a new investment casting facility located in Rotherham and produces a specific portfolio of civil aerospace parts using advanced manufacturing techniques and an increased level of automation. Turbines is one of the Supply Chain Units and has a substantial presence on the Ansty, Bristol, Derby, Denby and Trentham sites. Turbines is also involved with three successful manufacturing Joint Ventures in the UK, Italy and China, and is committed to establishing itself as the benchmark for providing Turbine system solutions.

Key Accountabilities:

* Performing corrective/preventive maintenance tasks compliant with asset care schedules and recognised procedures to resolve automation asset faults and breakdowns.

* Identifying the root cause of automation asset faults and improving asset performance and reliability to meet operational objectives.

* Consistently interfacing with operations and maintenance management systems to deliver a professional engineering service.

* Providing a fast and efficient response to any breakdowns that occur across the site, whilst ensuring all the company procedures and standards are followed.

* Applying Maximo as the reporting system for breakdowns and critical spares management.

* Undertaking fault finding task on a wide range of production machinery, including Vacuum Furnace, Chemical process lines, Machine tool, and PLC maintenance for conveyor & robotics systems.

Qualifications

* Completed time served apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline with a minimum of City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

* Experience of working on electro-mechanical equipment, with knowledge of fault finding on PLC's, and Siemens S7 PLC.

* Experience on a wide range of machine tool maintenance including drives, inverters, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

* Experience of preventative maintenance and routine maintenance and inspection would be ideal.

* Experience of working on conveyors & robots, and in particular Fanuc Robotics Systems would be an asset.
