An FTSE 250 Global Media and Services company based in London is seeking Head of Project Management to join its expanding team.As the Head of Project Management your duties will include:
Chair reviews, to assure progress / delivery, identifying risks and assisting with developing risk mitigation plans.Ownership and effective financial budget management of portfolio.Recruitment, management and development of a talented team (FTEs and contract resource).Effective support and management of direct and indirect reports, ensuring scheduled 121, objective setting, maintaining job descriptions and pay /bonus reviews.Effective integration of central technology agile development projects in the portfolio, for reporting purposes.Managing stakeholders from team members through to senior managers making sure there is buy-in, minimising road-blocks, and ensuring continued commitment.
To be a successful Head of Project Management you will have the following skills and experience:
Experience at a senior level in a Technology Project Management function / recognised PM qualification.Experience of agile and waterfall methodologies.Developed management planning skills.Strong team management experience.Experience of being a Business partner or Business Relationship manager and managing relationships effectively.Experience with providing portfolio KPI reporting.Experience of managing pipeline /demand.Strong organizational skills, able to coordinate and collate.Good managerial skills, able to lead by example.Excellent interpersonal skills with which to engage senior business stakeholders.Good financial skills in terms of managing a budget and working closely with the finance team to report on technology spend.
In return, the Head of Project Management will receive a salary of £100,000 per annum plus many benefits.
