An excellent opportunity for a design engineer with a background in tooling, jigs and fixtures looking to join an international organisation where you will work on technically challenging and interesting projects, and where you can further progress your career.

This specialist company based in Swindon, are a leading design and manufacturing company for automation and special purpose machinery that is supplied into their sister company. They are continually at the forefront of innovation and are consistently growing there organisation and now are looking for two tooling design engineers to take pivotal roles.

In this department you will be working on a number of different projects, and be designing the tooling jigs and fixtures for the production equipment and they SPM. This will involve the creation of practical, efficient and cost effective design solutions.

The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing background and have experience designing tooling, jigs and fixtures. Candidates with Catia design experience will be at an advantage.

The Role:

* Design a variety of jigs, fixtures, special purpose machinery and automated solutions

* Read and understand customer specifications

* See projects through from customer specification to final design and manufacture

The Person:

* Manufacturing background ideally Automotive

* Experience designing a range of tooling, jigs and fixtures

* Effective communication skills

* Ideally have Catia V5 experience
