My client is looking for a T24 Environment Consultant (Temenos T24) to join their team for a 6 month contract based in London.

Job Summary:

To support and develop mission critical financial services applications, and extend knowledge of these fundamental technical issues to others in the team

Main Duties & Responsibilities, duties include

Environment Support: The most critical part of this role is to maintain the availability and technical integrity of our test systems, in particular Temenos T24.

This involves the following responsibilities:

* Analysing and diagnosing technical problems in T24, both in the Pre Prod any Test environments.

* Liaising with Temenos over obtaining problem resolution and obtaining fixes. This may involve gathering technical information requested by them, and discussing and challenging their findings.

* Receipt of software fixes from Temenos, and installation and testing prior to implementation in test systems

* Responding to UAT, Data Migration user issues in particular where this relates to detailed technical issues.

* Handling systems upgrade issues when we move to new releases or download patch updates from Temenos

* Being on call out of hours for urgent system problems e.g. when Close of Business (COB) and early morning Start of Day (SoD) problems. It goes without saying that given the criticality of our systems, it must be possible to think coherently and work quickly and accurately whilst under pressure.

Software development:

Providing software development capability in all areas in and around T24, in particular:

* Database administration, design and extension

* Application development

* Enquiries

* Reports

* Interfaces

This development capability will extend to various stages of the lifecycle, including analysis, development, unit testing, and support for User Acceptance Testing. Technical capabilities required in support of these activities include jBase, AIX, MQSeries, XML, IF, IRIS and OFS.

* Has worked on latest release R15 TAFJ and above

* Has considerable experience on T24 Packaging Installer ( T24 Tool for Packaging)
