Test Analyst

Gosport

SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain is required for this role

Mandatory Skills

* 3-5 years Testing experience over a wide variety of technologies

* ISEB / ISTQB Foundation certification

* Working knowledge of Oracle E-Business suite

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Platforms

* Working knowledge HP Unix

* Working Knowledge of Networking and associated Protocols

Desirable Skills:

* Prior experience of working in a Defence Environment

* Understanding of current Infrastructure Technologies (CITRIX, SAN, Distributed Networks)

* Understanding of networking technologies (TCP/IP)

* An understanding of web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, JSP, ASP, .Net, etc.

* Experience of Testing Maturity Model Integration (TMMi)

Role:

* Complies with the Test policy and departmental procedures.

* Design Test Cases that verify the requirements of the solution

* Production and execution of Test Scripts

* Peer reviews Test Cases and Scripts in line with department standards and procedures.

* Under the direction of the Project Test Managers / Senior Test Analysts, is responsible for ensuring the delivery of testing services on the account.

* Reporting on testing activities and progress.

* Understand and supports project deliverables.

* Secures appropriate approvals.

* Participates in project status review meetings.

* Translates requirements from Test Plan into Test Cases to achieve project testing objectives.

* Participates actively in organisational testing capability, development activities and initiatives.

* Supports knowledge management and collaboration through participation in testing discussions, communities and improving testing collateral through lessons learned.

* Mentors other Test Analyst and Junior Test Analyst.

* Any other reasonable duties commensurate with the role
