Technical Project Manager, Prince 2, APM, Agile, .NET, SQL, Finance

Our client are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join their Woking office. They are a CRM software house whose product has hit the market well resulting in the company expanding several offices globally. This is a dynamic role in which the Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing the control and delivery of an enterprise software solution. Furthermore the new Technical Project Manager will also be involved in the entire project lifecycle gaining valuable experience in a challenging yet rewarding Technical Project Manager role.

Essentially we are care looking for Technical Project Manager with good communication, leadership and organization in order to provide the vital link between the customer, development team and any third party regarding software functionality, throughout the development lifecycle.

The Technical Project Manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

                                         Lead the planning and implementation of projects, facilitating the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables, and developing full scale project plans, collecting, understanding and documenting the business requirements for the project, and translating these into functional specifications and detailed test plans;

                                         Oversee solutions delivered using Microsoft .Net, Microsoft SQL, and other technologies (MVC, JQuery, SSRS) as deemed suitable by the requirements;

                                         Write detailed documentation at all stages of the project lifecycle, documenting workflows and results of business analysis and obtain sign-off from client on the specifications;

                                         Day to day management of issues, risks and change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are met;

                                         Delegate tasks to, organise, train, and motivate a members within project team

                                         Provide expertise during sales and pre-sales processes, and assist with tenders, bid analysis and reviews;

                                         Able to facilitate and gather client requirements through use of workshops, product demonstrations and core product knowledge;

                                         Participate in the weekly project team meeting to discuss project status, project resources, and other needs, presenting project data continually to senior management, identifying and communicating problems where apparent;

The following Skills and Experience are needed for this Technical PM role:

                                         Proven Track record of managing enterprise implementations within a software environment;

                                         Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently interact with multiple business areas from the largest UK organisations;

                                         Effectively and proactively manage multiple work streams;

                                         Natural leadership skills, able to manage and coach small teams;

                                         Prioritize between short-term reactive demands and long-term planning;

                                         Good technical and product specialisation awareness

                                         Resilient and able to deal with problems and deliver outcomes under pressure.
