Control Systems/Automation Engineer

£35,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + Training + Progression + Pension

This position would suit an Automation Engineer from a manufacturing/factory automation background with experience taking projects from initial conception to the design, programming and test phase.

THE ROLE:

*Responsible for design, programming and test of automated machinery both new and existing products.

*Offer advice and support to internal team and customers.

*Occasional customer visits and travel required.

THE PERSON:

*Familiar in the use of Creo / Pro-Engineer or equivalent.

*SCADA, PLC, HMI, Siemens, Allen Bradley knowledge.

*Good understanding of automation control, PCB assembly and fabrication would be an advantage.

*Proven manufacturing/factory automation background

*Must be educated to degree level or equivalent
