This is a new, exciting role where you will be able to help shape our project processes by challenging the status quo and championing organisational change and transformation. The Project Manager is responsible for providing expertise in project management across the Council’s Project Portfolio; facilitating project start-up including preparation of key project documentation, assisting with effective communication between project teams and stakeholders; and providing central support services to the Project Management Office.

The Project Manager will lead on a wide range of projects and Service reviews from the portfolio as assigned by the Principal Project Manager, taking responsibility end to end for successful project delivery or by supporting a Project Manager per se with advice and guidance throughout the project life cycle. Experience conducting Service Reviews and Business Process Engineering skills would be advantageous.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with advanced skills in Microsoft Office packages are necessary.

In return we offer an excellent benefits and conditions of service package.
