Proposition Marketing Manager

Experience of IT and/or Education would be highly desirable.

The Proposition Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the go to market strategy for a variety of products and propositions. You must have experience of being hands on and demonstrable experience on delivering campaigns, creative content and has worked on various projects at the same time.

Responsibilities include:

1 Effectively planning, managing and reviewing a portfolio of marketing propositions, programmes and promotional activities in support of our clients business objectives.

2 Responsibility for achieving company strategic targets by ensuring the constant evolution and measurement of campaigns

3 Capturing, articulating and meeting agreed requirements and success criteria for each marketing proposition, working with key stakeholders responsible for interpreting and implementing the marketing plans to agreed budget, timescales and quality standards.

4 Producing customer-focused campaigns by successfully mapping our software solutions and services to key educational issues and needs.

5 Aligning sales and marketing activities to ensure all activities help drive interest, traffic and qualified sales leads.

6 Champion internal promotion and communication via opportunities such as sales training and advocacy programmes.

7 Collecting customer feedback through multiple customer visits throughout the year to help shape future product development

8 Deliver strategic change in the way we communicate with our customers across the portfolio through specific channels such as digital, social media, PR, email, DM or events

9 Ensure marketing activities deliver a positive, reportable ROI

Main Responsibilities

Proposition management (60%)

* Build and maintain a detailed termly plan for all campaigns in line with the overall marketing plan.

* Collaborate with sales and product teams to compile campaign requirements and brief the implementation teams accordingly.

* Track, monitor and report progress against agreed Key Performance Indicators, including budget, ROI, quality, traffic and conversion.

* Liaise with the off shore marketing team to obtain detailed data knowledge required for the purpose of segmentation, targeting and monitoring of campaigns.

* Liaise with the designers/specialists to initiate the production of all materials and ensure project tasks are fully briefed and supported in line with the termly plan.

* Work closely with the marketing manager to provide timely and accurate information for the purpose of planning and reporting at a departmental level.

* Visit schools and academies to understand their challenges and issues and feedback to product management teams to help support future strategy and roadmap

Aligning sales and marketing (40%)

* Produce core messaging to inform sales briefs and public facing online and offline collateral.

* Contribute to the content and attendance of customer events to promote propositions, drive engagement and increase adoption, both clients hosted events and third-party conferences.

* Provide on-going customer / sales support including supporting sales with strategic customer presentations and meetings.

* Understand current and future market needs, in order to position the product propositions ensuring on-going sales.
