C++ Software Engineers - Finance, Risk, Data Analytics

London, to £ 60K

I am looking for extremely good software engineers with strong C++ and Linux development experience and a background in Computer Science, finance, streaming analytics or high performance computing to join a world leading high performance platform developer, working on projects in their Risk / Finance group.

The company value Software Engineers who have and enjoy working on a mix of software problems and technologies and who enjoy learning and solving often complex technical problems.

Your highly developed skills in C or C++, Linux / embedded platforms, exceptional academic background (PhD in Computer Science, Maths or Physics would be ideal) and experience of working in very bright, multi-disciplined teams will see you working in small, talented teams who are solving next generation problems associated with high performance systems in the financial arena.

Your background should include -

Programming in C/C++ or Java

Implementation of numerical algorithms

Library and API design

With any of the following being a real bonus.

Financial risk modelling

Data analytics algorithms with a focus on streaming data

Analytics research
