QA Automation Tester / Software Test / Birmingham / £40-45,000 + BenefitsOverviewA leading Financial Services Company are looking for a new Automation Software Tester to join their team. Due to a number of new projects coming live, they are looking for a new tester who is enthusiastic to learn, develop and aid others going forward in their career.Salary Circa £40-45,000Responsibilities:

'€¢Successfully executing automation tests whilst maintaining a comprehensive log of all test cases'€¢To understand the current test needs and advocating the appropriate automation solutions'€¢Ensuring automation scripts are created and performed efficiently throughout the full SDLC'€¢Driving the combination of manual and automation tests across all projects'€¢To take initiative in identifying concerns to the attention of the team and suggesting resolutions in overcoming the problem

Requirements

'€¢Minimum of 2+ years hands on automation testing experience'€¢Previous automation experience with API / Web services (eg. Selenium IDE, Cucumber)'€¢A minimum of 2+ years industry experience within finance domain (eg. Mortgages or equivalent)'€¢Full understanding of SDLC'€¢Previous exposure to commercial element of software development'€¢Jira'€¢Previous experience in a client facing role

Desirables:

'€¢Experience creating automation test scripts in fincance based applications / systems'€¢Sound understanding of working in an Agile environment'€¢Computing / Software related Degree qualification'€¢ISTQB Foundation or higher

The offices are commutable from: Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Coventry, Worcester, Burton Upon Trent, Solihull, West Bromwich, Stafford, Derby.
