Excellent opportunity to join a globally recognised manufacturing company in a dynamic and challenging position.
On offer is the chance to develop into a senior management position within a company that will invest heavily in your development and training.
This local manufacturing company are long established and have big plans for the future. Due to continued growth and success they are looking to recruit two Shift Leaders.
In this role, the successful candidate will directly manage 3 senior production operatives and indirectly manage 60 operatives. You will play a pivot role in continuous improvements of the manufacturing process and ensure quality is also upheld throughout the manufacturing process.
This is a fantastic opportunity as a stepping stone into a senior management position in the future.
The Role:
*Leading the shift
*Directly managing 3 senior operatives & indirectly managing 60 people
*Health and Safety champion and heavily involved in continuous improvements
*37.5 hrs -5.45-14.15 M-F - 13.45-22.15 M-F
The person:
*Knowledge of Six Sigma & health and safety
*Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory environment in a supervisory role
*Live within a commutable distance to Crediton
