Telecoms Manager
One of our top Financial Services Midlands based clients is seeking a Telecoms Manager to join their growing team. You will be responsible for the operation and administration of the company's internal telecommunications system. This role will cover continuity management including back ups, incident management, problem management, release management, change management, availability management, vendor and supplier management.
Telecoms Manager duties will include, but not limited to:
*Ensuring the smooth operation of company telecoms services (IVR, 2-way SMS, dialler, call recording, mobile phones)
*Administering and maintain of mission critical telecom platforms in line with the agreed SLA
*Continuously monitor the telecom platforms for performance
*Manage supplier relationships to optimise billing and ensure the business are leveraging the most cost effective technologies and providers
*Ensuring the telecom platform is secure with appropriate measures put in place to safeguard it
*Design and implement both short and long term plans to ensure the telecom platforms capacity meets requirements
*Focus on the continuous improvement of telecoms and overall IT effectiveness
*Manage the team effectively across multiple sites
*Develop strategies and roadmaps for maintaining telecoms platforms
*Act as the Incident Manager, on a rota basis
*Resolve issues promptly
*Proactively monitor the systems to prevent failure
As the Telecoms Manager you will be required to possess:
*Avaya Professional Credential program: Expert
*Experience running a telecoms team
*Resource management and scheduling
*Experience of working for a company previously with a 500+ seat call centre (heavily dependant upon telecoms)
*Hands on experience of telecom platform troubleshooting
*The ability to compel issue resolution across assorted groups within a corporate framework
*CCNA in Voice is desirable, but not essential
