On this training programme, you’ll learn how to support our national security. You’ll also monitor a variety of communications, and provide intelligence that supports UK foreign and defence policies. We’ll train you in everything from identifying and analysing modern communication technologies, to underlying payload for exploitation and capability development. After successfully completing the 18-month training programme, you’ll begin working at one of our sites.

To join us, you’ll need a minimum of five GCSEs, grade A-C (including maths and English), or equivalent, along with an interest in Radio Frequency communications. Keen to learn more, you’re curious about how signals are transmitted and received within the electromagnetic spectrum, from 10KHz through to 3GHz. Enthusiastic and an excellent communicator, you keep up with new technologies, and work well both in a team and independently.
