Software Engineering Manager

I am currently working with a new e-commerce client based in Central Manchester that, due to rapid growth and plenty of projects in the pipeline, looking for a skilled Software Engineering Manager to join their team.

With modern offices and a purely agile-driven, highly innovative environment that is buzzing with technologically passionate individuals, this is a great opportunity to get stuck with the multi-functional teams and work on creative projects.

With a huge push on greenfield development, the successful candidate will need to be up to speed with the latest technology. Although you will not be hands-on coding, the role is heavily stakeholder-facing so will need to have a strong technological background and knowledge.

The client is looking out for candidates with experience/skills in the following:

* Management & leadership of technical teams

* Application of agile methodologies

* Core web development technologies (java, html, .NET, PHP ect)

* Platform Architecture
