Job Role: API Designer
Location: London
Contract Length: 6 months + extensions
Start Date: ASAP
Job Description
* 6+ years of experience with API design overall 8+
* Should be able to define APIs
* Drive requirements
* Experience with Mulesoft is preferred
* Exposure to Design and Design Principles and knowledge of J2EE frameworks and Design Patterns.
* Strong experience of developing applications using Java 7/8 / JEE
* Strong experience using Spring 3/4 (including knowledge across Core Spring Framework, including Spring Boot)
* Strong web-service development experience using REST / SOAP
* Strong technical knowledge of Hibernate / JPA
* Strong understanding of OO Designing and Programming Techniques and associated concepts, Data Modeling, Design Patterns
* Strong understanding of TDD with extensive experience of automated unit testing (e.g. JUnit) using mock object frameworks.
* Experience in producing Design and POCs and able to define the framework.
