Java Developer London to £100k

Java Developer / Java Software Engineer (Pricing / Risk Java J2SE). City based trading firm is seeking a talented Java Developer to design and develop a new pricing and risk trading platform, utilising cutting edge technologies. Working in an informal atmosphere in the City with a good work life balance, casual dress code and bright, funky offices, you will gain valuable knowledge of the financial markets.

As a Java Developer you will work on complex trading systems for multiple asset classes in Equities, Commodities and FX. You will liaise closely with Quants and Front Office trading staff to quickly address any issues that may cause business outage. In this fast-paced market, seconds can mean the difference between success and failure and latency will be a key consideration for all of your work.

Requirements:

*Indepth knowledge of core Java J2SE

*Thorough understanding of computing fundamentals, object orientated programming, threading, concurrency and distributed systems

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
