Excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter / Engineer looking to break into the manufacturing sector where you will work for a well respected manufacturing company that will provide training for you to become a highly skilled maintenance engineer.

Are you a Mechanical Fitter with experience of working with Hydraulics and Pneumatics? Are you looking to break into the manufacturing sector?

Founded over 120 years ago this company are a well-established manufacturer which form part of a large group. They are now looking to recruit two Mechanical Fitters to work on the nights shift.

This is a heavy mechanical engineering site with a range of various types of machinery which presents an opportunity to stretch your technical skills. In this role you will be carrying out planned preventative maintenance and break down cover on a range of machinery.

This company are looking to recruit the right attributes therefore they will look outside of manufacturing and consider applications from apprentice trained engineers from the Forces such as Navy, REME and RAF and provide full training on their types of machinery.

Therefore this role would ideally suit an Apprentice Trained Mechanical Engineer who has some supervisory skills and is looking for a challenging role with a company that will provide excellent training and give you opportunities to progress your career.

The Role:

* Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

* Carrying out PPM and Breakdown Maintenance

* Technical and Skills Training will be given

* Working Nights 4 on 4 off 6pm - 4:45am

* £29'500 per annum + Lots of Overtime + Bonus + Training & Development + Pension

The Person:

* Trained Mechanical Engineer

* Happy to work within a heavy engineering environment

* Must have experience of Pneumatics & Hydraulics skills
