Our client is seeking a freelance Quantity Surveyor to work in Warwickshire on Earthworks and Piling projects

Requirements:

* Worked as a Quantity Surveyor previously on Civil Engineering projects

* Able to manage projects across the UK of various values

* Worked on NEC and JCT form of contract previously

* Experience working on Piling and Ground Engineering schemes

Duties include:

Dealing with Contractual terms, Early warning signs and applications, working with the project Costing software, being involved in pre order meetings and negotiating sub-contract conditions, month end CVRs, disputing Z clauses in NEC.

Remuneration:

Freelance: £300 per day

Permanent: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE

Private Medical (Bupa)

25 days holiday

Laptop and Phone

They would also consider taking someone on freelance to start with and then permanent after a couple of months
