Senior Scala Developer - Worthing, United Kingdom - Salary up to £90,000

Responsibilities:

* You will be building and deploying digital services following an agile environment that meet the user needs.

* You will also be involved in building prototypes, writing tests and also implementing RESTful APIs.

* There is an opportunity to mentor junior/apprenticeship developers providing them feedback for improvement.

* Working in cross functional teams supporting with the writing and testing production quality.

Desired skills:

* Experience in backend development using Scala or Java 8

* Web technologies experience using either HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, REST and JSON

* Knowledge of agile methodology
