We require a Project Backup engineer and storage engineer specialist to join a market leading organisation based in Bradford.

Day Rate: £350 - £450 per day

Contract Duration: 6 Months

As a backup and storage specialist you will be joining an established team focused on putting the replacement of their virtual site out to tender with 3rd parties.

You will have an extensive background in Backup and storage technologies such as IBM Tivoli Storage ManagerSpectrum Protect, and HitachiSepaton VTL platforms, SAN.

You will be involved in all stages of tender preparation through to selection. You will have strong stakeholder engagement skills, requirements gathering, strong documentation and planning.

You will support with the delivery phase after the tender has been awarded with, design, install, configure, test, migrate, train, transition whilst working closely with the partner.

As the Project Backup and storage specialist you will have strong technical knowledge and background of architecture, design, delivery, migration and operation of Backup technologies

Good technical knowledge and experience of architecture, design, delivery, migration and operation of host technologies, specifically Physical and Virtual servers hosting Windows, Linux

Excellent ability to engage with stakeholders, requirements gathering, and document

Any background supporting a tender process or OJEU is highly desirable
