We have an opening for a Senior Application Administrator to join our beautiful, corporate office in Branston, Derbyshire. Situated in the middle of the National Forest at Burton upon Trent, just a 25-minute journey from Birmingham and East Midland Airports and close to the major motorway networks (M1).

You’ll provide application support for IHG’s Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)* suite of tools to deliver timely and quality financial and non-financial data.

*Including Essbase, Planning, EPBCS and PCMCS.

Responsibilities

- You will work cross-functionally during the month end close, budgeting & forecasting and reporting processes to ensure your stakeholders have access to quality data in a timely fashion.

- Responsible for the data loads and integrity of key Essbase, Planning and/or Cloud Applications and will act as an application and process subject matter expert (SME), providing help and support to stakeholders.

- Able to understand and anticipate the impact of future changes in the business or source systems on IHG’s EPM applications and processes and communicate and act as appropriate.

- Execute the data quality governance policy and associated controls, ensuring SOX compliance and a clean audit.

- Actively participate in both Global Technology led EPM and internal team projects to deliver new tools or processes. Attend project meetings, provide requirements and business expertise and direction as required. Complete unit testing. Once in Production become the SME for that new process/tool.

Our Ideal Candidate

- Strong finance and IT acumen, underpinned by an in-depth knowledge of data management, data governance, management consolidations, SOX compliance, project delivery and multiple disciplines within a Global Finance function.

- Good understanding of Oracle’s EPM suite of tools.

- Experience of working in Global teams as well as strong relationship management, verbal and written communication and strategic and analytical skills.
