A Data Engineer / ETL Developer is required by a high tech, big data and analytics business in their modern Oxfordshire office. The Data Developer / ETL Engineer will be responsible for offering high level, data focused solutions to the business and specifically the ecommerce platform that they produce. The Data Engineer / ETL Developer will be working in a modern Agile environment utilising methods like BDD, TDD, Scrum and Kanban within a team of highly capable Software Engineers and Developers.

This Data Engineer / ETL Developer opportunity offers a highly competitive salary of around £65,000 and a large annual bonus and great benefits you associate with modern technology companies.

The Data Engineer / ETL Developer role will involve:

Data Analysis

Data Management and Data Integration experience

Develop and document data processes including data cleansing and matching

(TDD) against master data management and integration components, utilising Java and Agile

Contribute to the overall system design

Build test automation to provide high coverage of all code under development, including TDD, BDD and integration testing

Continuous improvement

Key skills and experience for the Data Engineer / ETL Developer:

COTS MDM products (Semarchy) and java plugins development experience

Talend or similar

Oracle SQL & PL/SQL

JBoss Fuse,Java and Apache Camel

AWS and ideally DevOps knowledge
