Food Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer

£40,000 + Overtime + Training + Pension

Excellent position available for a maintenance engineer at a company who will offer you electrical and mechanical training in the food manufacturing industry.

Do you have mechanical or electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment? Are you looking to develop your knowledge through further training?

This food manufacturer is well established as the market leader in their industry, supplying products to a range of major supermarkets. As they continue to grow they are constantly investing in new equipment and processes to increase their output. This company are well known for their experienced engineering team and are now looking for a maintenance engineer to join their team.

In this role you will be responsible for Planned and Reactive maintenance on a range of manufacturing equipment, including Packaging Equipment, Labelling Machines, and Conveyors. As you settle in to the role you will be fully trained on the equipment to identify and repair electrical and mechanical faults. You will also contribute to Continuous Improvements and Project work within the engineering team.

This is an ideal opportunity for a maintenance engineer from a manufacturing background to gain new skills and experience with the food industry.

The Role:

* Planned preventive maintenance and breakdown repair on food processing machinery

* Working closely with production to ensure optimum efficiency

* Working towards high standards and health + safety across the site

* £40,000 + Overtime + Pension + Life Assurance

* Overtime paid at 1.5x

The Person:

* Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Background

* Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance

* Willing to undertake training, high standards of work and determined to solve problems

* Comfortable working days and night shifts
