Tester, Manual TestingAs a result of an exciting period of change, transformation and growth, this is a newly-created position for a junior-to-mid-level Tester, to join a test function that is being built from the ground up, within one of the region's most exciting and rapidly-growing companies, based in Abingdon, South Oxfordshire.The RoleWorking closely with an experienced Test Lead, the Tester will assist with the testing activity within my client's development team, for all changes/enhancements made to their suite of internally-facing business-critical software applications.  With the aim of improving the quality of the software delivered and ultimately, helping the development team to provide the business with the software they need to work as effectively as possible, the Tester will use a combination of manual and automated testing tools.The CompanyThe Tester will be joining one of the UK's most exciting ISPs, at the forefront of fibre technology.  Privately-funded and with heavy investment, they are making a significant difference to the country's broadband landscape!  Rapid growth has seen them move from 30 to 200 employees in the past two years, and 2018 is already proving to be an exciting year for them!What Experience do I need?Whilst this is an excellent opportunity for a junior-to-mid-level Tester to receive further training and development, the wider your breadth of experience of testing tools, strategies and processes, the better, but the successful Tester will ideally have some of the following:

'€¢Previous commercial experience of the full testing lifecycle, ideally in an Agile environment'€¢Experience of manual testing'€¢Experience of a wide ranging of testing approaches such as: regression, UAT, Smoke Testing, etc., and when and how each should be used'€¢Experience of and/or an interest in, automated testing
