We're working on behalf of one of the UK's largest banking companies who have an exciting requirement for a number of Automation Testers to join their team at their large technology center based in Central Manchester.

The overall purpose of this role is to drive, manage and push automation testing across the whole business including Personal Mortgages and Channel Test Teams.

They're looking for a real leader and someone who has practical experience of building and maintaining test automation frameworks at a large, enterprise scale.

Alongside the technical aspect of the role, it can be split into three other areas that include:

- Stakeholder management and leadership

- Decision making and Problem solving

- Risk and Control Objective

To be considered for this role it would be nice to have the following:

- Strong understanding and experience of test automation frameworks e.g. Selenium, QTP etc. and experience of using BDD/TDD techniques

- Automation testing experience at a large, enterprise scale

- Java development background preferred (although any coding experience would be great)

- Knowledge of testing terminologies processes and tools

- Awareness of control and risk within testing projects

- Experience in working with multi-location teams
