Are you an experienced machinist with experience of working with composite materials or similar? Are you looking for your next exciting challenge within a world renowned research and development department?
My client carry out collaborative research and development projects with industry leaders within the automotive sector amongst others. They require a workshop technician to help manufacture one off parts using various composite materials, titanium, aluminium etc. so they can be tested and recorded.
You will be tasked with a range of disciplines such as metal fabrication, machining and fitting. Candidates who are able to carry out most of the tasks will be considered. You will need experience of working with composite materials and be able to operate a CNC or manual machine. Candidates must also be apprentice trained.
This is a fantastic opportunity for any machinist with experience of working on composite materials with a highly varied and interesting workload.
The Role:
* Working in a state of the art research and development department
* One off varied parts to manufacture
* Working on various materials such as composites
The Candidate:
* Experienced using CNC or Manual machines
* Timeserved/Apprentice trained
* Experience with some of: Milling, turning, grinding, welding and fitting
