Solution Architect Role (Inside IR35)

Location: Manchester

Contract Length: 6 months

The successful individual will oversee the architectural designs being created and implemented by our delivery partner adhere to architectural principles and that all solutions are aligned to the IT Strategy. The role would include liaison with the architectural function of the client, to establish the architecture that underpins the delivery of strategic platforms (Webmethods, Ms Dynamics and Sitecore) and the real time integration between them. The role would require working with colleagues across the workplace to promote best practice (developed as part of the project delivery), and to ensure appropriate service governance.

Skills required:

* Java - the ability to write Java messages is key

* Experience of Microsoft Dynamics

* Experience of Enterprise Service Bus (Oracle ESB)

* Experience of Sitecore is highly desirable

* Experience of Peoplesoft is highly desirable

* Experience of SoA designs (SOAP and REST) and use of Webmethods

* Experience of API gateway management

* Experience of JMS messaging designs

* Knowledge of ADFS authentication and SSO capabilities including SAML2 and Oauth patterns

* Experience of Hybrid Cloud environments

* Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud platform services and Azure Stack services

* Knowledge of application monitoring and logging services

* Experience of DevOps tooling to supports continuous integration and integrated testing

* Experience of .Net development

The specific tasks involved are:

* Validate the designs for development of SiteCore, Dynamics and for real-time integration being developed by our delivery partner for the SLP project

* Expand the service architecture designs for real-time messaging, SoA interfaces and API management to meet the needs for supporting on premise and cloud based integration.

* Create exemplar design patterns for JMS messaging and API interfaces

* Support, advise and assist in the co-ordination of SLP project dependencies

* Validate the designs for DevOps tooling and expand to consider the requirements for integration and performance testing.

* Identify the training needs for integration, applications and testing staff

* Leading on integration work into and out of the project in line with SLP plans

* Liaise and co-ordinate between the client and their delivery partner various streams of work (including integration and testing)
