Your new role:

This is one of a number senior roles and you’ll enjoy an unrivalled opportunity to play a part in continued progress. This pivotal role supports the transformation and is focused on:

Managing a portfolio of transformation programmes across a complex organisation.

Overseeing the management and deployment of internal consultancy and business analysis.

Ensuring effective interaction between strategies and transformation, and business improvement activities and functions.

Management of risk issues and assurances reporting as well as ensuring effective governance.

What you'll need to succeed:

Proven track record of problem solving and delivering projects in complex organisations with complex issues with a sensitive and diplomatic approach.

Sound experience working with multiple simultaneous projects (technology, service design, infrastructure) sometimes high value, high profile and with varied timescales (e.g. up to £20m).

Comfortable with project and programme management methodology (waterfall and agile).

Strong leadership, influencing ability and well versed in working with wide range of stakeholders at a variety of levels.

Prepared to "roll up your sleeves" and dig into the details.

Motivating and galvanising the team to deliver on time and to a budget.

Proactive and forward thinking approach.

Strong ability to translate the complicated and provide clarity to the wider audience.

Ideally you are educated to degree level or a significant level of relevant experience of equivalence and membership of a relevant professional body.

The post holder should ideally hold a full current driving licence or be able to travel around the force using alternative transport. Please note: Vetting will be conducted on applicants.
