Quality Test Engineer, Cucumber, Selenium, Jira, GIT, SVN, SDLC, Software Tester, Agile - JY/5125

A Quality Test Engineer is needed to work for our well established global client based in the heart of the city. The Quality Test Engineer will have the opportunity to have access to cutting edge technology to make a real impact in the company. The Quality Test Engineer will be working in a collaborative agile environment with like-minded team members to plan test approaches, design, write and execute tests and analyse the results to assure software changes meet the agreed requirements

Key skills the Quality Test Engineer may have:

                                                             Strong knowledge of the software development process

                                                             Must have proven ability to develop and execute automated tests using tools - specifically Cucumber (preferred) or Selenium

                                                             Proven track record in quality assurance and project delivery

                                                             Experience working with large volumes of data

                                                             Experience working with databases such as MySQL, Oracle or SQL Server

                                                             Experience in testing at a Functional or User Acceptance level

                                                             Experience working within an agile environment

                                                             Experience using test management tools such as JIRA

                                                             A working knowledge of source code management tools like GIT and SVN

                                                             Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement practices

                                                             Good oral and written communication

This role would be ideal for a Quality Test Engineer contractor who is currently looking for a new contract position or a challenging new senior position. A Senior Tester who is keen to work with a global company in an agile environment. A Quality Test Engineer with experience of cucumber and Selenium.
