Job title: 2x Junior Information Security Engineer (0-3 years' experience)

Length: 12 month contract, possible extension for 12 months after this.

Rate/salary: EUR36,800/160e (for 0-1 years' experience), EUR41,400/180e (for 1-2 years' experience) to EUR46,000/200e (for 2-3 years' experience).

Start date: July 2018

Interview: 1 round onsite in June 2018

Mandatory: Full clean driving License (this means you are not disqualified, you are allowed to have penalty points)

This roleo Junior Information Security Engineer is a great opportunity to get into the booming world of IT security. If you have recently launched your IT career by obtaining a qualification such as CISSP, CNNP, CCNA, CCIE or ISO27001 or masters in IT security then this is the role for you. You will be joining an Irish Public Sector body that delivers services for the Irish public, it is highly regulated and has high standards. If you are interested in the job and apply then can tell you more about the company and culture.

You will need to travel to different sites of the Public Sector body as a Junior Information Security Engineer, approximately 100km per week. You must have your own vehicle and the travel amounts vary from week to week. You will need to be able to work full time onsite in Longford. The hours are 8am to 5pm from Monday to Friday, there is no overtime or work out of hours.

Day to day activities of Junior Information Security Engineer:

* Advise IT Managers on possible preventative measures which could be taken to reduce risk of intrusion

* Internet Access Monitoring - Configure and maintain

* Email Monitoring - Configure and maintain

* Lead the delivery of ICT Security solutions including planning, monitoring and reporting of progress to the IT Managers

* Computer Forensics and Incident Investigations

* Threat and Vulnerability Management

* Enterprise Mobility Management

* Liaise with Network and Windows Operations teams in formulating security policies, standards and procedures

* Security Monitoring and Alerting

* Strong technical knowledge of secure networks and server architecture. Staff Security Awareness Programs.

Skills needed (minimum 3 month commercial experience, you don't need to be an expert in each area):

1 Vulnerability Scanning and Penetration Testing using Qualys Vulnerability Management and Systems Hardening (Windows, IIS, Linux, Oracle, SQL ) and Microsoft Exchange 2013/2016 and Microsoft Office

2 Windows O/S from Windows 2008 upwards and Knowledge of Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies) and Firewalls, IDS/IPS and other network security (NAC, ACLs, etc)

3 IBM Lotus Domino and Sophos and EnCase Forensics V7 and McAfee End Point Protection

4 McAfee Device Control and Data Loss Prevention and Cisco IronPort Email and IronPort Web and MobileIron MDM

5 Acronis Access and ISO27001 and Citrix Xen Desktop and Citrix Netscaler

6 Anuview - (Network Forensics & Management) and Cisco Firesight - IPS/IDS Threat Management and Cisco Advanced Malware Protection (AMP) and McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator

7 Juniper Space & Secure Director and Cisco networking experience and eLearning and cyber security compliance platforms
