A leading manufacturing organisation with a great reputation within the industry. The business has sites across the North of the UK with their Head Office located in South Yorkshire.

Role

We are looking to recruit a Group IT Manager with previous experience managing a small/medium business critical IT function, you will be responsible for the IT Strategy across all IT Systems covering all Hardware and Software, Desktop applications and infrastructure, ERP, accounting, sales and telephony.

The organisation is looking to improve its IT Systems and processes and needs someone that can influence, drive change and effectively manage the IT for the business across its multiple sites.

You will also need to manage the operational IT Infrastructure across their sites throughout the north, supporting a user base of approximately 100-200

Above all, we are looking for a manager capable of championing the future development and enhancement of IT, ensuring that IT provides an excellent service to the business. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable working with stakeholders to demonstrate where improvements need to be made and the investment spend/return on this. As you will be covering locations across Yorkshire, you will need to drive, have a full UK Driving License and your own Car.

Key skills and experience

* Experienced in managing IT Functions

* Ability to champion IT, ensuring the highest level of customer service to the business

* Knowledge of Networks and telephony

* Experience with IT Security products

* Technical knowledge covering MS technologies - including Exchange, Office 365, Active Directory, Windows Server etc…

* Ability to operate at all levels, both internally and externally.

It would be highly advantageous to have prior experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment.

To be successful in this role you must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
