An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 3rd line technical support engineer to be based in the centre of York. As this team supports the entire IT infrastructure for the establishment, it will enable you to be exposed to a wide range of technologies, challenges, and projects.
As a 3rd line technical support engineer, you will be supporting the backend infrastructure that supports a desktop environment. As a result, you will be exposed to a range of projects, support work and technologies across the infrastructure. As an example, projects and support work could involve the rollout of desktops or building a new operating system. Technologies that you will work with includes Windows desktop, Server 2012-2016, VMware, SCCM, Office 365.
As a 3rd line technical support engineer the below skills and experiences will be required (not all are essential)
2nd line support role
Windows desktop
Sever 2012,2016
Office 365
SCCM
Backup (any)
Storage (any)
Active Directory
PowerShell
Cisco (general networking principles)
