Transfer Agency Test Analyst required to work for our client, a leading Investment and Asset Management company based in the City of London.
Main Function of the Transfer Agency Test Analyst
The company is embarking on a journey of multi-faceted change, its largest ever. The project group responsible for this change is looking for a Test Analyst to assist the Test Manager in respect of the strategy, planning, scripting and testing for all workstreams.
Accountabilities
Delivering to agreed time and quality standards
Assisting with creation of time and resource estimates
Input into Test Artefacts, including the Test Strategy, Plans and Completion Reports
Creation of Test Scenarios, Scripts and Cases
Assist with the provision of status reports and MI
Highlighting risks and issues as they arise
Work with stakeholders within the project and/or workstreams on test-related aspects
Assist with the provision of information and input into the business sign off process
Assist with the smooth running of day-to-day testing activity
Skills and Experience Required
Significant experience in a Transfer Agency testing role
Industry recognised test training and/or certification (ISEB/ISTQB)
Experience of testing best practices and design techniques
Experience in using different methodologies - e.g. Agile, Waterfall
Practical experience in using industry recognised Integrated Quality Management Software e.g. HP ALM (Quality Center)
Desirable
ISTQB Advanced Level (Test Analyst)
Experience in a relevant business or technical role (preferably min. 3 years’ finance industry experience)
