Coastal In-Service Support Manager

Various Locations across Northern England, Scotland and Ireland

Now, to keep them afloat, our client is seeking Coastal In-Service Support Managers to join their teams across Northern England, Scotland and Ireland.

Your Role:

As a Coastal In-Service Support Manager, you’ll be tasked with overseeing regional maintenance activities for our client’s fleet of lifeboats and their facilities.

Your day-to-day activities will follow the RISE ethos, which stands for Rescue, Influence, Supervise and Educate. You will use this ethos to support our client’s lifesaving efforts.

This is a management role where you will lead a Regional Technical Cell and make sure that all maintenance is carried out effectively and within budget, engaging with senior team members to understand their requirements and managing audit activities.

Your role is directly related to lifesaving activities through the delivery of a fully equipped, accessible and fit-for-purpose fleet, the buildings and facilities to support this and the associated equipment.

About You:

To be considered as a Coastal In-Service Support Manager, you will need:

- Considerable experience of engineering systems and experience of implementing, delivering and maintaining engineering assurance and compliance

- Considerable experience of strategic implementation and support activities, along with budget responsibility

- Proven experience of managing geographically dispersed teams

- Excellent communication skills with evidence of meeting and managing the varied expectations of a large customer base

- Demonstrable experience of driving continuous improvement

- The ability to demonstrate inclusive leadership behaviour

- A relevant engineering degree or MCA Class 1 or RN Charge cert. or equivalent experience

A NEBOSH or equivalent and/or an audit qualification would be beneficial to your application.
