Test Analyst

Milton Keynes

£350 per day

The role will be responsible for the design, creation of detailed test specifications (Test Estimates, Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Data, Test Results and also for test execution activities on projects within the RBSG Clearing Services account. Due to client security requirements, the role is UK based at one of the RBSG Clearing Services office locations. The applicant will be expected to be able to travel freely within the UK and to various Test Bed and Implementation locations.

Job Description

* Under general supervision, utilizing the appropriate testing methodology, analyses testing scenarios and test cases as the basis for developing, updating, and executing repeatable test scripts, test cases, and test data that will demonstrate conformance to all functional and non-functional requirements, as defined in business or technical specifications, for a test level to be performed on a project.

* Executes tasks related to the production of test scripts, test cases, and test data.

* Analyses the results of the testing process and recommends solutions.

* Analyses requirements to ensure the test scripts, test cases, and test data meet project needs and expectations.

* Interacts with the project and business teams to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and conformance criteria.

* Understands and uses appropriate automated testing processes and tools.

* Maintains security, integrity, and business continuity controls and documents. test cases, and test data

Experiance:

* Minimum 5 years working as a Test Analyst - Required

* ISTQB/ISEB foundation in software testing - Required

* Good command of the English language, written and spoken - Required

* MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio) - Required

* Waterfall Model Methodology - Required
