My client based in Edinburgh are looking to add to their expanding team, during this exciting growth time they are looking to bring on a Business Analyst. The BA will ensure that systems are accurate and reflect the business requirements.

Responsibilities

* Contribute to the creation of projects, throughout the full process of requirement definition, writing of detailed requirement definitions, detailed user stories, backlog prioritisation, acceptance testing, print planning, demo and retrospective ceremonies

* Working to a high level of detail and accuracy, identifying any improvements along the way

* Maintain quality management system through the documentation and demonstration process

* Engage with internal and external stakeholders, customers, partners and suppliers to elicit business requirements

* Stakeholder management, clarifying business requirements, identifying business models, work flows and product features

* Work closely with the software development team to identify business problems and derive potential solutions

Key Skills

* Working to Agile methodologies

* Process Design, Workflow, UML, Bizagi and Viso tools

* Experience working to regulatory compliance, such as GDPR

* Written and verbal communication skills are a must

* Leadership skills, using these to motivate and coach the development team
